SAD!! 14 year old ‘houseboy’ tortured to death by employers
A 14-year-old boy, Oliver Arakwe, has allegedly been tortured to death by his employers, Elochukwu and Chiamaka Nnajiofor.
Arakwe died on Aug. 17, 2010 at the Eko General Hospital, Surulere, after he was allegedly tortured and beaten by Chiamaka for “misbehaving”. The testifying police officer told the court that:
“During our investigation, it was discovered that Chiamaka actually tortured the deceased and when we got to the crime scene, we discovered that he was kept in the toilet for two days”
“He was then brought out and asked to wash some clothes but he could not perform the task because he was very weak”.
According to him, this angered Chiamaka who then instructed another domestic-servant named Emmanuel, to flog him.
“When she discovered that Emmanuel was not flogging the deceased, she took a belt, tied him with a chain to the toilet bowl and beat him till he lost consciousness,” Jacob alleged.
Jacob said that she later rushed the boy to the hospital, where she allegedly told the doctor that she “just saw the boy on the road”.
The witness said that Arakwe died before the doctor could start treatment, and his body was transferred to the mortuary of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
He said that the police recovered a chain, leather belt and rope among other exhibits from the residence of the Nnajiofors located at 81, Femi Tella Street, Ago/Okota, Isolo, Lagos.
The matter has been adjourned till April 30th.

Amazing!! Nigeria Twins, Breaks World Mathematics Record.
The two youngest Nigeria siblings are about to make British history as the youngest students to ever enter high school. They astounded veteran experts of academia when they became the youngest to ever pass the University of Cambridge's advanced mathematics exam. That's on top of the fact they have set world records when they passed the A/AS-level math papers. Chris Imafidon, their father, said he's not concerned about his youngest children's ability to adapt to secondary school despite their tender age. "We're delighted with the progress they have made," he said. "Because they are twins they are always able to help and support each other."To Peter and Paula's parents, this is nothing new. Chris Imafidon said he and his wife have been through this before: They have other super-gifted, overachieving children. Peter and Paula's sister, Anne-Marie, now 20, holds the world record as the youngest girl to pass the A-level computing when she was just 13. She is now studying at arguably the most renowned medical school in the United States, Johns Hopkins University, in Baltimore. Another sister, Christina, 17, is the youngest student to ever get accepted and study at an undergraduate institution at any British university at 11. And Samantha, now age 12, had passed two rigorous high school-level mathematics and statistics exams at the age of six, something that her twin siblings, Peter and Paula, also did.

D'banj Says Don Jazzy Is His Artist and He Owns Mohits Record Label.
If D'banj recent interview with ebony magazine is anything to go by, then that report will be completely true, D'banj made it clear that Don Jazzy is his artist and he is the owner of Mohits records, even though everybody thought it was it other way round - in D'banjs words:
EBONY MAG: How did you meet Kanye West?
D’BANJ: I had a concert in Dubai and when we pulled up to the airport’s first class lounge and a hostess ran up to me with a plaque with Kanye’s face on it, asking me to sign it. I said ‘I’m not Kanye West, I’m D’banj but Kanye West is coming? All eyes open.’ Then my manager spoke to Kanye, came back and told me ‘He’ll give you five minutes.’ I walked over -- as an African man I’m always prepared -- and I played my music ‘Stand Out,’ ‘Fall In Love’ and ‘Scapegoat’ for him on my iPod. Before we knew it, I’d almost missed my flight and he invited me to New York.
Coming from Africa I’m my own manager, I have my own label called Mo’ Hits with my artists Dr. Sid, Wande Coal, Don Jazzy, D’Prince and K-Switch. I own Mo’ Hits and we’ve won numerous awards by the grace of God. Being with Kanye for the last eight months and me leading a successful label in Africa, I’ve learned a lot and I believe people will see what we’re going to do. I signed with Kanye in June and that same month I won the BET Award for Best International Act. My New York concert isn’t done by G.O.O.D. Music, it’s done by Live Nation, meaning I’m already a moving machine. So who better to introduce me to the global world than Kanye West, a crazy genius?
